I'd be putting my family's future in jeopardy. I decided, right then and there, that I was going to finally get in shape for my family. I owed it to them. Because of the attacks on Sept 11, 2001, I decided to re-join the National Guard. But there was only one problem before I could: I had 60 pounds to lose. So... with joining the guard as my motivating force... I went on a personal mission and spent hours reading and studying all of the fat loss programs I could find. But the frustrating part was that most of what I learned simply didn't work when I tried it! Not only that, I spent a ton of money on supplements and most of them didn't work either. Diet pills and fat burners left me feeling nervous, jittery, and usually resulted in a quick boost in energy, then a horrible "crash" when I came down. I tried and failed more times than I could count. I was frustrated, and greatly disappointed, to say the least. But I was determined to stick it out. I was going to do this for me AND my family. My biggest breakthrough came when I decided to start learning from people who ALREADY HAD the kind of body that I wanted. That way, I could find out how they did it and just do what they did to get in shape. Because instead of trying everything like I did before... I suddenly realized it made more sense to copy a method that's already been proven to work. I began studying the best all-natural bodybuilders and athletes I could find. I searched for people who already had the lean, toned, fit body I wanted too. I literally became a "fitness guinea pig"... putting each and every workout and nutrition tip I learned into practice. And the results were simple amazing because I started noticing dramatic improvements in fat loss in the first week. I can't tell you how many YEARS of time and effort this cut off of my learning curve. Soon, I knew what worked and what didn't. And I was able to develop a simple, proven fat loss system based on the little-known techniques I had just learned. I was blown away with the results. I was losing fat a lot faster than I ever had before. Within the first few weeks... I noticed I was leaner everywhere on my body: my chest, arms, shoulders, stomach, and legs!
